Built for residential programs. Not adapted from a hospital.
Most software in this field was made for someone else - a hospital, a clinic, a generic office. Kordera was made for the work residential staff actually do.

Meet the founder
Kirk Chewning
“I built Kordera because residential programs are stuck on eight to ten tools that don’t talk to each other. When you book a demo, you’re talking to me.”
Most residential programs run the same way: eight to ten different vendors duct-taped together. A hospital EHR with the words swapped out for charting. A separate billing tool. Another for HR. Another for scheduling. Another for training. Paper binders for the things none of them handle.
Every one of them was built for someone else - a hospital, a clinic, a generic office - and every one of them makes staff bend around it. New hires need weeks of training before they can log a med pass. Auditors show up and files get rebuilt by hand. Money leaks because the bill lives in a different system than the note.
So we built the thing that should have existed.
Kordera is built only for residential, child welfare, and behavioral health programs. Not adapted from hospital software. Designed from scratch for the work that actually happens there.
That is also why it bends around you instead of the other way around. When the software wins and the program loses, staff go back to paper. We are not interested in building that.
Demos are run by the people who built Kordera, not salespeople. Bring the worst part of your current setup.
